Random Technology offers PowerMax and SuperStainless converter- back exhaust systems for a variety of import and domestic vehicles. All systems are engineered for minimum back pressure and maximum power. They're dyno, track and street proven and 50 state legal.

  • PowerMax Camaro/Firebird Converter-Back Exhaust Systems

    Two PowerMax converter-back exhaust systems are available for 1982-2002 Camaros and Firebirds equipped with LT1 & LS1 engines, one manufactured of T304 stainless steel, the other of aluminized steel. Both systems feature mandrel bent 3" tubing and include a straight through PowerMax muffler with dual 3" outlets. The tail pipe tips are designed to add visual appeal to stock Camaros and Firebirds as well as those equipped with aftermarket ground effects panels. These systems add up to 18 horsepower at the wheels. Systems also available for:

    • PowerMax Mufflers

      The perfect complement to a Super High Flow converter is a Random Technology PowerMax muffler. Available in a variety of inlet and outlet configurations, PowerMax mufflers are engineered to deliver a pleasing, throaty sound while offering minimal flow restriction. They are most effective when installed on vehicles equipped with catalytic converters. Constructed of heavy guage, robotically welded, PowerMax mufflers are built for a long trouble free life. Both aluminized steel and stainless steel models are available.

      DualCat Y-Pipe

      Designed for 1993-2002 Camaros and Firebirds, the Random DualCat system offers a significant horsepower advantage, especially for vehicles with modified engines. In addition to allowing the installation of dual catalytic converters on 1993-95 Camaros and Firebirds, the system makes it possible to install the more effecient 1993-95 model headers on 1996-97 model vehicles. DualCat y-pipes for 1998-2002 Camaros and Firebirds with LS1 engines and stock manifolds are also available. Featuring mandrel bent 2-1/2" diameter tubing and Random Technology super high flow converters, the DualCat Y-pipe is a direct bolt-in replacement.
