Third
and Fourth generation Camaros and Firebirds have no trouble cranking out
horsepower, but getting that power to the ground is usually a big problem.
That
problem is eliminated with Random Technology's new adjustable torque arm.
The tubular torque arm is easily installed in place of the factory arm
using all the original mounts. No welding or drilling is required. The
Random Technology torque arm is powder coated and supplied with a special
polyurethane bushing that's installed in the original mounting bracket,
so there's NO increase in driveline noise. Manufactured of thick wall
DOM tubing, the Random Technology torque arm can be easily adjusted for
maximum traction on all surfaces. For 1982-2002 Camaros and Firebirds,
it's the simplest, most effective solution to traction problems. And it's
about half the price of other torque arms.
Control Arms
Random
Technology also offers powder coated lower control arms for 1982-2002
Camaros and Firebirds. Manufactured of heavy wall 1-3/4" diameter steel
tubing, these control arms feature polyurethane bushings.
Anti-Squat/Relocation Kit
The
secret weapon in the fight for maximum traction is Random Technology's
Anti-Squat Control Arm Relocation Kit. When welded to the original control
arm bracket on the rear axle housing, this kit lowers the attachment point
2-5/8" for significantly improved instant center position. This is particularly
important for cars that have been lowered. The unique design of this kit
also allows side loading of the control arms to be eliminated. Fits 1982-2002
Camaros and Firebirds.
